WSOP 2022 to Take Place at Bally’s and Paris in Las Vegas

After taking place at the Rio for 17 years in a row, the WSOP tournament will change its location to Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. The 53rd edition of the tournament is planned to take place between May and July next year and the WSOP picked Vince Vaughn as the 2022 WSOP Master of Ceremonies.

The 53rd Annual WSOP Tournament Will Take Place at a New Location

For nearly 2 decades the World Series of Poker was held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Now, the WSOP announced on Wednesday that next year, the tournament’s location will change. The WSOP revealed that the 53rd annual poker tournament will take place at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

This marks the first time when the WSOP will be held at the luxurious Bally’s and Paris property located at the h haha777 eart of the Las Vegas Strip. According to the WSOP, the dates for the 53rd annual WSOP tournament are set between May 31 and July 19, 2022.

WSOP Selects Vince Vaughn as Master of Ceremonies

Besides the new location, the WSOP revealed that it has chosen Vince Vaughn as the 2022 WSOP Master of Ceremonies. The famous actor, comedian and card player was picked as the official celebrity of the WSOP tournament, which is already well known as one of the richest and most prestigious poker events in the world.

It was back at the start of the final table of the WSOP Main Event when the star from “Swingers” and “Wedding Crashers” made his appearance. Vaughn surprised everyone with a special “Shuffle Up and Deal Moment.” With that in mind, the famous actor knows Las Vegs pretty well and he has played poker throughout his entire life. Undoubtedly, he is going to bring more unforgettable experiences for WSOP participants next summer.

Poker Fans to Experience an Exciting 2022 Summer

WSOP’s SVP, Ty Stewart, acknowledged that this year the Main Event proved to be a success once again and exceeded expectations. Moreover, he stressed that the WSOP is thrilled with the turnout this year. Last but not least, Steward said that while the chapter at Rio is coming to an end, the WSOP is incredibly excited to have Vince Vaughn lead the “new era of WSOP at Bally’s and Paris next summer.”

In a statement, Vaughn shared his excitement about the news as well. He outlined that he is strongly connected to Las Vegas and it is an honor for him to be selected as the Master of Ceremonies for the most anticipated WSOP tournament ever.
